Philosophy

At Kid’s World we believe in combining learning experiences and structured play in a fun, safe and nurturing environment – offering far more than just childcare. Preschool is the first introduction to a lifetime of learning, a journey that should start off on the right foot. We help children discover, explore and learn to their fullest potential.

We provide enthusiastic and well-trained teachers that genuinely care about children, and understand each child’s individual developmental needs and learning styles. They take the time to help each child discover, in his or her own way, a fascinating world of play and learning.

All programs start their day with Circle Time. Teachers bring their age group together every morning for calendar, weather, sharing, music and movement, literacy building, nursery rhymes, colors, shapes, math and science. Curriculum is built around monthly themes, often driven by the creative thinking of the children.

Developing our student’s language and literature skills is essential. Teachers read to the children daily and age appropriate libraries are located in all the classrooms.

Children are never too young to learn a foreign language. Students at Kid’s World are introduced to the Spanish language and Sign Language in the Toddler Program and continue to build on their learning of these languages throughout their journey of learning on our campus.

Children in all programs take part in Music and Movement as they sing and dance. We make sure to balance quiet and active times in all our classrooms. Young children’s attention spans are shorter and their bodies want to move. In addition to their outdoor playtime, we provide Music and Movement activities that they love. We believe that music and movement together provide many benefits to the social, mental and physical development in children. Moreover incorporating music and movement in all our programs helps our students with social interaction and language growth.

Kid’s World encourages a highly productive partnership between teachers, our director and parents. As a partner, you’ll have numerous opportunities to communicate with us about your child’s progress.
